Inactive Members
I'm OCD about lists, so when I see members that haven't been on in months without any explanation, I tend to do some trimming. I just recently edged out a couple inactive members who I'd only spoken to a few times after I added them, so I figured they dropped the game. This forum is a useful tool for such situations. If you can't play for a few weeks or months, just put a note in this section of the forum. I'm pretty understanding. (We constantly wonder where Solandros has disappeared to, only for him to suddenly show up again after a number of weeks... grinding away. )
Also, I'd like to know what everyone's definition of an "inactive member" is.

Re: Inactive Members
I say that someone who has no interaction with anyone in the guild would be inactive even if they do play. After all, if you never talk and always go at it solo then why are you even in a guild?

Re: Inactive Members

Re: Inactive Members
But we're not a competitive guild. That's why we're okay if if a member takes a few weeks' or months' break, as long as he/she gives notice.

Ya. No competition. Tho, a member that haven't connectet/talk to any of us either on DMO or MSN or here should get kicked out after a month or so.

Re: Inactive Members
I don't think competitiveness has to do with it. It's about the guild itself. There's no point in being part of the guild if you don't contribute something to it like party up. That's why for those that don't participate in any of that or give a notice, they should be kicked out. That's what I think an "inactive member" is. I would give it a month as well.Key720 wrote:But we're not a competitive guild. That's why we're okay if if a member takes a few weeks' or months' break, as long as he/she gives notice.

Re: Inactive Members
Alright. I guess it can depend on some other factors too. Like if they are social or antisocial for one...

Re: Inactive Members
Some people can't always group up with each other depending on their digimons
Lets say the first group is
Ritzbitz lvl 48
Key720 lvl 46
Artificial lvl 46
and you guys(and Jenny?) are fighting PileVolcamon
And the people not in the group(but close and online) are...
Tamama lvl 51 Data
YoKoZo lvl 46 Virus
Wulfen lvl 49 Vaccine
RBA lvl 43 Virus
Here's the thing, I'll be the member who isn't giving Cy and Jenny the amount of exp as if I was near their level. YoKoZo can help b/c he's virus and near your level. Wulfen is at a disadvantage with Data making him use more healing items and making him take longer to kill. RBA is probably to low of level for Ritz and will have a hard time killing those level 51s, but for Jenny and Cy he'll supply a normal amount of exp gain.
I think the activity and inactivity should be based on how often they are on, the amount they talk, leveling together also is important if your at the same level. What's most important is helping each other and being nice to each other. Kindness is the thing that should keep people together.
Some people are also shy to talk or don't want to talk while leveling or typing one word can cause you to get kill by the enemy digimon. The 1% exp that you lost is very crucial because later on, it's going to get harder to level up.
But before we start with the social and non-social thing, we need to get more members.

Re: Inactive Members
lol I'm trying to get more members but I don't want to invite just random ppl. Gotta make sure this is a friendly guild that works together well haha.
And yeah, often we will be at different times to party up. So if ppl don't wanna party, obviously I won't ding them for that.

Re: Inactive Members
Wow, if that so, then I guess I'm gonna be kicked out... I don't talk much in the game, as most of the time, I play when you guys aren't there and when you are I normally don't notice the chat as I fight digimons.

RBA also spends the most time in the game as well. Check out that rank. You can't kick him out.
