Hi, since people play this game I'll just make a guide so you guys/girls can use it.

Leveling Guide:
When leveling roles, you can choose what role that you will use to get Bonus Stats. Bonus Stats only jump into play when you use Big Nods though.

Here's what it is for each role:
Commando: 2 Strength
Ravager: 2 Mag
Sentinel: 6 HP
Saboteur: 2 Strength on even levels, 2 Mag on odd Levels
Synergist: 6 HP on even levels, 2 Magic on Odd levels
Medic: 6 Hp

When using your CP, only level your Medic and Sentinel roles on small nods.(If you want to max ATK and MAG)

Monster Leveling.
When leveling a monster, it's better to use a certain type like Power Droplet, on a big nod the raw stat gain would be 110%, where as a Potent Droplet would give you 55%

Potent:
Droplet-Buy from Chocolina or Farm them from Bresha 005AF, The first area you time travel too.
Bolt-Buy from Chocolina or Farm them from Bresha 005AF
Sliver-Buy from Chocolina or Farm them from Ceratoraptor from Sunleth Waterscape 300AF
Chip-Buy from Chocolina or Farm them from Orion at Augusta Tower, either year.
Orb-Buy from Chocolina or Farm them from Buccaboo at The Archylte Steppe,Stonestump+Ridge(Sunny)
Engine-Buy from Chocolina or Farm them from Flanitor and Fencer at Augusta Tower, either year.
Essence-Farm from Mud Frog and Navidon at The Archylte Steppe, Clearwater Marshes(Rainy)
Booster-Obtainable from Yeoman and Pantopoda
Crystal-Farm from Mirrochu at The Archylte Steppe at Clearwater Marshes, Any weather?
Generator-Farm from Vampire at The Archylte Steppe, Stormy weather.

When trying to level a chocobo for racing, Use all potent items.
The best Racer Chocobo is Silver or Gold, I recommend the Silver Chocobo.

If you want to make the game harder, never use your Crystirium until the battle gets to hard to beat.'

Monsters you might want:
COM:Dragoon(Can pierce through enemy defence)
RAV:Cloudburst(The ice-bomb in the crack at the near the Grave area in Archylte Steppe)
MED:Flanitor(In Augustus Tower, Can AOE heal.)
SEN:Bunkerbeast(Masschif? 100AF, Has a lot of health points.)
SAB:Black Chocobo ATM (Vile peaks?)
SYN:Purple Chocobo ATM (Bresha Ruins 300AF? Snow Area)

CP Grinding to the max!!!
My technique for max CP would we Academia 400AF after the enemies begin to give 400CP per fight. With the massive spawn of enemy you can farm a lot of Power orbs and CP. Also get all Paradox ending to get more CP.

TBC...
You can post this elsewhere but you have to credit me though.

I followed your advice for the big nodes and it seems to be working out for me so far. I just got the special edition guide in the mail today so I'm hoping it has some other good tips.

The monsters i'm using right now are Flanitor, Buccaboo Ace, and Dragoon.

I prefer my Behemoth, Major Munchkin, and Bunkerbeast to be honest. They're pretty awesome.

Microchu are really common and easy to kill. I managed to get enough crystals to max my behemoth out without any trouble at all. Pretty much all of those are easily farmable by the end of episode 5.

potents are amazing if you want to have an all rounder monster. Remember to throw your moogle to the red flowers near the first cactuar stone near the town at the Steppe. You must have improve moogle from Serendity first though.

I know what you mean. Personally I prefer a mix of specialist materials and potents, except for with Sentries. I don't think sentries need anything other than HP so there's no sense in using any potents on them.

Catch rate is 7%, can be 27% if you can get the special ability from serenidty after getting all Artefacts in Vile Peak(Odin area).

27% * 300% = 81%
This is what i assume the catch rate to be.

Edit: Fixed, Vile peak for 20% drop rate +

So it's 21% from 7*300%(Feral Link) plus 20% from the Vile peaks thing, so it's 41% if the drop thingy is like this.

yeah I just got that ability. You get it from completing the Vile Peaks, which is really easy.

Catch rate is 7%, can be 27% if you can get the special ability from serenidty after getting all Artefacts in Yassa Maschiffs, I think because I don't remember.

27% * 300% = 81%
This is what i assume the catch rate to be.

I don't think the item drop modifier affects creature crystal drops considering that you can tell when a crystal has been dropped before combat is completed.

Just got lightning, trying to get the other guy.
Maxed her with potent she's 800ish for ATK and MAG
I think I rather keep my Dragoon for his Defence breaker....

She's just in her Commando position with Ravager skills.

My Team was

Noel: Rav lvl 6
Serah: Rav lvl 99
Flanitor: Med maxed level

Kept me alive with max HP throughout the whole battle after stagger then

Com-Com-Com(Dragoon,Red chocobo,Chichu)

My current main team:

Noel: All jobs lvl 99
Serah: All jobs lvl 99
Silver Chocobo: lvl 45
Lightning: lvl 13
Behemoth: lvl 70

Extra Monsters:
Black Chocobo: lvl 96 (to use against Yomi in the near future)
Bunkerbeast: lvl 63 (my old sentinel, plan on using it again once it's maxed)
Flanitor: lvl 34 (medics can be really useful at times)

I currently have a bit over 110 fragments and am now on to trying to collect the last 40-something fragments I need.

Is it just me or is it really easy to get exp in this game? I was nearly maxed out even before I fought the final boss (only needed about 100K exp to finish off the last two classes per character).

My Team:
Lightning-Ravager Lvl 13
Amodar-Commando Lvl 8
Dancing Bird guy-Synergist lvl 28
Flanitor-Medic lvl 34
Bunkerbeast-Sentinel lvl 20ish
No sab yet
Noel and Serah are almost maxed

LLR Team:
Manekoton-commando
Serah-2 Paradigram upgrade
Noel-2 Paradigram upgrade

the game is pretty hard if you do a LLR(Low Level Run) or a NCU run(No Crysterium Usage).
Other than that, Tri-disaster then Cerberus should get you throughout the whole game easily.

Also, if you go to the sidequest places, you'll end up WAY over leveled.

Another thing.
Just place yourself at Academia 400AF after the story playthrough of it and you should get 400 per battle, so just auto battle there for CP; If they can respawn there....
